Flying high

Dean Race certainly knows how to keep busy.

From his real estate company to Pro1 Janitorial to his gold
panning business, he seems to never have a dull day on his itinerary. The
bigger question may be how does he get to all the places he needs to be? He
flies.

Race is a licensed pilot and flies a Cessna 320D, which
seats six and not only allows him to make the commute from Wisconsin to
Chicken, AK, but serves as a workhorse for the gold panning excursions,
ferrying passengers from the airport in Fairbanks to the site of the panning
operation.

Marie likes to joke that her husband is the pilot of the
"company airline," which is not that far from the truth. It just depends
on what company you are referring to.
