Here’s a look at some business events coming up this week and later this month:
You’re a small business and interested in social media, but not sure where to start? Then attend the Morning Business Advice event from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Fox Valley Technical College’s Bordini Center. Lisa Cruz of Red Shoes PR will review small business case studies of firms using social media. The cost is $7 for members of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce in advance or $10 at the door. The cost for non-members is $15. Visit www.foxcitieschamber.com to learn more.
Here’s some information on two events coming up in the Fond du Lac area that you don’t want to miss:
- Worried about a letter or visit from the EEOC? Then attend this informational seminar from 7:45 to 10 a.m. March 17 at the Holiday Inn in Fond du Lac looking at the anatomy of an investigation. An EEOC representative will be on hand to discuss everything you need to know about processes and cases. Visit www.fdlac.com/event.php to sign up.
- The Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC) will hold its annual dinner on March 25 at the University Center Commons and Prairie Theater at the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac. The event begins with networking at 5:30 p.m. The evening will highlight services offered by FCEDC and the role everyone plays in economic development as former clients highlight in their own words how the organization helped make a difference for them and the community.
