Visualizing, planning and reaching your goals is the topic of Women In Management’s meeting Wednesday at Brett Favre Steakhouse in Green Bay. Lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. Bridget O’Connor, vice president for enrollment management and communications at St. Norbert College, will be the speaker for the meeting. Coming up: Social media will be in the spotlight when the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce holds a series of seminars this spring. Al Lautenslager, a certified marketing coach, will lead a session on Twitter at 8 a.m. March 25 in the lower meeting room at ABC Computers on Godfrey Drive in Waupaca. A seminar on April 15 will focus on Facebook while LinkedIn will be the topic of the April 27 gathering. Lautenslager will host the final session, which is focused on blogging, on May 18. For chamber members, the seminars cost $25 per session or $75 for all four. The cost for nonmembers is $35 a session or $110 for all four. Coming Up: Looking to get the pulse of what's happening with the Shawano County economy? Then make plans to attend the Shawano County Economic Progress Inc. (SCEPI) summit at 5:30 p.m. on March 23. Larry Weyers, executive chairman of Integrys Energy Group, will be the keynote speaker while Jack Riopelle, former Wisconsin Film & Bag CEO and now owner of his own consulting firm, will also speak.
