As always, there’s more to do. After posting this week’s Best Bet Business Events, I heard about two more events going on next week that I wanted to let you in on so you can sign up:
The New North Social Media Breakfast will be Tuesday, June 15 at the Outagamie County Regional Airport's (ATW) Public Safety Building in Greenville. The focus this month is on tourism. Go to http://nnsmbjune10.eventbrite.com/ for more information or to register for this free event. To learn more about these monthly gatherings, you can also check out this feature from the June issue of Insight.
Also next week, Current Young Professionals Network, a program of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a workshop on breaking away from the regular work day grind on Thursday, June 17 at Hinterland Restaurant and Brewery. Chicago-based Life Meets Work founder, Kyra Cavanaugh, will explain the importance of flexibility in business, how to get past common objections and what you will need to give back, or give up, as a flexible worker. Registration begins at 11 with lunch served at 11:30 a.m. The presentation is from 12 until 1 p.m. The cost is $15 for members of Current and $20 for nonmembers. For more information or to register, please visit www.greenbaycurrent.org.
