The only economic survey specific to Northeast Wisconsin will be unveiled during the 2010 First Business Economic Forum on Dec. 16 at the Butte des Morts Country Club in Appleton.

The forum, which runs from 3:45 to 6 p.m., features the results of the 2010 survey, includes a presentation by David Ward, president of NorthStar Economics, and a panel discussion with local business leaders led by Margaret LeBrun, co-publisher and executive editor of Insight Publications.

Panelists for this year’s event include: Steve Morton, President of Morton Drug Company; Karen Monfre, partner at WIPFLI; Peter Helander, CEO of Heartland Business Systems; Tom Boldt, CEO of Boldt Construction; and Richard McCreary, President & CEO of Marinette Marine.

The survey was put together by First Business Bank, along with the A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research at the University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Business, Insight Publications and NorthStar Economics. It analyzes common business indicators such as sales revenue, operating costs, capital expenditures, profitability, staffing, wages, and pricing gathered from CEOs, CFOs, and owners of Northeast Wisconsin businesses. This is the third year the survey has been conducted.

The forum is open to the local business community. To register online, click here.
