Packers President Mark Murphy is speaking at the Thursday meeting of Current, the Young Professionals Network of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. Registration for the event at Thornberry Creek in Oneida begins at 7 a.m., with a breakfast buffet at 7:30, followed by Murphy’s presentation at 8. Women In Management’s Manitowoc chapter will focus on self-defense at its Dec. 14 meeting at the Holiday Inn in Manitowoc. The speaker will be Jason Wilterdink, who will share low-impact self-defense techniques that anyone can use.
