The Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Committee presents a workshop on cash flow from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Fox Valley Technical College's DJ Bordini Center. The speaker will be Anthony Busch of Priora Cash Flow Management LLC. He will talk about basic ratios and how lenders evaluate their business loan portfolios one loan at a time. The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Small Business Development Center is offering “Resolving Organizational Conflict,” a two-day management program focused on conflict resolution strategies. One of the elective programs in the Supervisory Leadership Certificate series, “Resolving Organizational Conflict” will be offered Jan. 19 and 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants will learn how to manage conflict productively and obtain tools and tips that can be immediately used in the workplace. Marinette Marine is hosting a one-day event called Small Business Industry Day on Feb. 8 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Green Bay. The shipbuilding is looking for businesses who have an interest in providing metal fabricating, machining, painting and other manufactured services to meet contract specified standards. The seminars will update lenders and interested small business professionals on the significant legislative and SOP changes that have recently impacted the SBA 504 and 7(a) loan programs.
