It's a new year so it's time for a whole new list of upcoming activities designed to help you succeed:
Schenck is hosting several free 90-minute workshops on QuickBooks/Peachtree updates next month. The events provide a look at the new features within the 2011 QuickBooks and Peachtree by Sage programs. The workshops will have one room dedicated to QuickBooks and another room dedicated to Peachtree updates and attendees may choose which session they would like to attend. All workshops run from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Dates and locations are: Tuesday at Butte des Morts Country Club, Appleton; Wednesday at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, Manitowoc (Manitowoc hosting QuickBooks update only); Thursday at Pine Hills Country Club, Sheboygan; Friday at La Sure’s Hall, Oshkosh; and Jan. 13 at the Holiday Inn of Fond du Lac. The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Small Business Development Center is offering “Resolving Organizational Conflict,” a two-day management program focused on conflict resolution strategies. One of the elective programs in the Supervisory Leadership Certificate series, “Resolving Organizational Conflict” will be offered Jan. 19 and 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants will learn how to manage conflict productively and obtain tools and tips that can be immediately used in the workplace.
