On Broadway Inc. and Dimension IV are teaming up to learn what area residents think about the housing opportunities in downtown Green Bay.

On Broadway and Dimension IV will host a community-wide focus group on the subject from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Urban Frog, 163 N. Broadway.

The focus groups will concentrate on four different styles of housing: single family detached housing, apartment, condominium and townhouse.

“The Broadway District offers a variety of types of housing today, but we want to understand what else is needed and offer diverse housing options to meet the lifestyle needs of young professionals, growing families, active baby boomers and retirees,” says On Broadway Director Christopher Naumann.

Dimension IV has designed a variety of residential units from individual homes to assisted living facilities and is excited about the opportunity to enhance the downtown living options, says principal Dan Roarty.

“The focus groups will assist us in defining those needs further and identifying what obstacles we need to overcome to reach the vision for downtown,” he says.
