It’s something many businesses struggle with – how to develop their own social media policy. The New North Social Media Breakfast will tackle that topic at its Feb. 17 event at Liberty Hall in Kimberly. The speaker will be Tammy Williams, vice president of marketing and development at the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region, who will share the process of how her organization developed their social media policy. Attendees will be able to get tips on crafting a social media policy, hear case studies and even start work on their own plan at the event. Marinette Marine is hosting a one-day event called Small Business Industry Day Tuesday at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Green Bay. The shipbuilding is looking for businesses with have an interest in providing metal fabricating, machining, painting and other manufactured services to meet contract specified standards.
