“Economic Security: How Should We Take Charge of Our Economic Future?” is the topic of a special presentation at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley in room #1341.
The event is sponsored by the Wisconsin Institute of Public Policy and Service (WIPPS), a department within the UW System. The meeting’s facilitators will ask attendees to consider, “How can we best take charge of our personal and national economic future,” and, “How can individuals and families move toward a financially stable retirement?”
According to WIPPS, “Organizations and individuals across the country are encouraging citizen dialogue on this important issue.” Forums are being held throughout Wisconsin as well as the nation. It is intended that results of these events will be discussed at a statewide event during the Spring 2011 at a nationwide event held in Washington, D.C.
The event is free and open to the public.
