Lakeshore Technical College is hosting the Northeast Wisconsin Regional Job Fair from 10 a.m. To 2 p.m. Thursday at the college’s Cleveland campus.
The event gives participants an opportunity to distribute resumes, discuss job openings with employers, and learn about current and future demands.
In addition to the Job Fair, presentations will be offered to help workers learn about new jobs available, how social media affects a job search and employment in green careers.
Here are the details about the presentations:
"New Economy Jobs," from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., will feature Dennis Winters, chief economist with the state Department of Workforce Development, and will be held in the Lake Michigan Conference Room.
"How Social Media May Affect Your Job Search," from 11 a.m. to noon, will be held in the Lake Michigan Conference Room. Other details are pending.
"Preparing for a Green Career," from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., will feature instructors of green programs at several regional technical colleges.
