AeroInnovate is taking on a technical spin for its third year.
AeroInnovate 2011 will be held July 25-30 during AirVenture at EAA in Oshkosh. The event is designed for innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, technology scouts, researchers and inventors.
Developed in 2007 by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, AeroInnovate brings innovators together, to bring new technology to the forefront, to create a consortium for sharing ideas, and a platform to bring investors together with start-up efforts. This is accomplished by continuously engaging the community.
AeroInnovate highlights cutting edge technologies, entrepreneurs, emerging companies, investment trends and other recent developments in the aerospace/aviation sector.
For 2011, AeroInnovate is adding a technology showcase to its usual line-up featuring forums on mid-stage and start-up business issues.
The technology showcase will provide businesses and inventors to share their new aero-related technologies through daily changing table top and poster displays as well as presentations and Q&As.
AeroInnovate will also include a pitch and mingle event on July 29 that will connect about 100 investors and industry leaders with six to eight quality start-up businesses who will share their stories. Pitch & Mingle requires advance registration by visiting www.aeroinnovate.org.
