Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. is hosting a workshop on biogas opportunities in Wisconsin and the New North from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 17 at its offices in Appleton.
Wisconsin can create wealth and jobs by building a new energy economy. Now is the time to transition the old energy economy-built on coal and petroleum-to homegrown energy sources like biogas and biomass to create power, heat and alternative fuels. The Wisconsin Bioenergy Initiative has published a strategic plan to bring business leaders and policymakers together to discuss how to make it happen.
