  • Tuesday: Strategic Solutions Consulting & Cornerstone Business Services will present a seminar on “Building & Transferring Value in Your Business Now and in the Future” from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m. at Globe University, 5045 W. Grande Market Drive, Appleton. For more information, please visit
  • Tuesday: The Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Networking Roundtable Event from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Registrations are required by calling (920) 766-1616. In this structured networking environment, each person will give a 2-3 minute commercial about their business.  Businesses are encouraged to bring business cards, brochures and flyers to share with the group.
  • Thursday: Les Van Ornum, of Merchants’ Choice Card Services will speak on “Cracking the Credit Card Code: Small Business Acceptance and Risks of Credit Card” from 7:15 to 8:30 at Fox Valley Technical College’s DJ Bordini Center. To register, click here.
  • Thursday: Business After Hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Grand Opera House in Oshkosh. The monthly event is sponsored by the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce.   • Tuesday, Dec. 13: Does your business need an advisory board? That’s the topic of the Advance BAC Entrepreneurial Innovation Series, which runs from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Advance Business & Manufacturing Center in Green Bay.   • Tuesday, Dec. 13: Women in Management Inc. in Manitowoc will hold its December meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn. The speaker will be Dr. Stacey Soeldner of Riverhill Psychological Associates, shares her 12 secrets that will keep you motivated and productive in the New Year.   • Thursday, Dec. 15: Christine Specht, president and chief operating officer for Cousins Sub, will speak Dec. 15 during an Executive Breakfast Event with Current, the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s young professional group. Specht, whose father was one of Cousin’s co-founders, began working for the chain as a teen and worked in several roles before being named president in 2008. Earlier this year, Specht was named Outstanding Restaurateur of the Year by the Milwaukee chapter of the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. The event at the Tundra Lodge Resort & Conference Center begins with registration at 7 a.m., with the breakfast at 7:30 and Specht’s presentation at 8.   • Thursday, Dec. 15: The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will host its business and breakfast from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at the F.K. Bemis Conference Center at St. Norbert College. The event will provide attendees with an in-depth update about what’s happening in the local business community.
