Businesses are invited to think globally at the 10th annual Northeastern Wisconsin Global Trade Conference on April 3, at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton. The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The conference offers an array of seminar sessions and presentations to further companies’ global competitiveness.
This year’s conference kicks off with a continental breakfast and opening keynote speech by Thomas H. Bentley, owner and CEO of Bentley World Packaging Ltd. Also invited to present is Gitane De Silva, counsel general, consulate general of Canada.
The conference offers two programming tracks. Track 1’s sessions will cover export documentation and procedures, international methods for payment, export credit insurance, export financing and risk mitigation.
Track 2’s sessions will provide real-world insights from Marine Travelift, Inc. and Northern Labs, Inc. about each company’s development and implementation of successful export programs. Track 2 will end with information about agricultural programs and resources for exporters.
