  • Thursday, June 28: Applications are due for Leadership Fox Cities for the 2012-2013 leadership year. The Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce & Industry initiated the program in 1991 to cultivate and train an ongoing pool of candidates who could serve the community. Leadership Fox Cities attracts both long-time residents who want a deeper connection to their community and newcomers who want to become familiar with the history, needs and resources of their new hometown. The program covers local history, biographies of past and current leaders and philanthropists, a wide-ranging sampling of resources, attractions and leaders here. During the year, participants will work in small groups to define, plan and carry out a community service project. They will learn how to become involved in the issues and organizations. For more information, call (920) 734-7101 or email [email protected].

The cost is $700, or $560 for nonprofit organizations. Participants will take a leadership assessment, set development goals, engage in peer consultation, network with other women leaders and build their leadership skills.
