Current, the young professionals’ branch of the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce, will host a Lunch-n-Learn event called Maximizing your Leadership Impact from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22. Cost for members of Current is $15, non-members, $20. The seminar will be given by David Radosevich, associate professor of the Austin E.   • Tuesday, Aug. 21: The Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce & Industry August Business Connection will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at High Cliff Restaurant, W5095 Golf Course Rd. in Sherwood.   • Tuesday, Aug. 28: The Fond du Lac Association of Commerce’s ACUniversity is hosting the program “Verbal Judo – The Art of Communication,” from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Fond du Lac Police Department at 126 N. Main St. The class, taught by Capt. Aaron Goldstein of the department, discusses the basic communication tools required to effectively deal with people in a highly emotional state. The class will teach attendees how to communicate with confidence in their personal and professional lives, break down barriers to communication, prevent and de-escalate verbal conflicts and diffuse potentially volatile situations.   • Tuesday, Aug. 28: The 20th annual golf outing to benefit Arc Fox Cities will be held at the Butte des Morts Country Club, starting with registration at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. A social hour followed by dinner with prizes, auction and raffles begins at 4:30 p.m. Arc Fox Cities provides programs and services for more than 850 youth and adults with differing abilities and their families, offering structured programs, social events and respite opportunities.
