The Fab Lab at Fox Valley Technical College will host the second annual Northeast Wisconsin Inventor Night from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 inside Entrance 16 at the Appleton campus. The event includes keynote address on licensing strategies by Warren Tuttle, president of the United Inventors Association and a recognition ceremony highlighting four local inventors. Tuesday, Oct. 9: The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting an informational session on its CEO and CFO Roundtables series starting at 7 a.m. with networking and breakfast. The program is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the chamber, 300 N. Broadway, Suite 3A. Another session will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 16. The roundtables provide top-level executives a formal way to share best business practices with peers in a confidential environment. Each roundtable group includes 10 to 12 CEOs, owners, general managers or CFOs and financial managers with no competing interests, similar company size, and represent a variety of operations. Wednesday, Oct. 10: The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its Business After Hours event from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Vandervest Harley-Davidson, 1966 Velp. Ave., Green Bay. Tuesday, Oct. 16: The Fox Valley Moxie Exchange will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Stone Cellar Brewpub, 1004 South Olde Oneida Street in Appleton. First-time attendees should arrive for a short orientation at 3 p.m. The Moxie Exchange Movement is an opportunity for women in business to build relationships and share wisdom.
