Northeast Wisconsin-based Angels on the Water will begin a new working relationship with graduates of gener8tor’s accelerator program, starting with the class graduating Thursday in Madison.
Angels on the Water, an angel investment fund that helps innovative Wisconsin entrepreneurs launch new companies, plans to invest $100,000 in five new startups coming from the gener8tor program.
“All of us at Angels on the Water are excited about working with gener8tor to support promising Wisconsin high impact entrepreneurs from across the state,” says chairman Al Hartman.
The Milwaukee- and Madison-based gener8tor is a business accelerator program that provides mentorship, training and funding for entrepreneurs.
“The Angels on the Water team has already funded gener8tor companies, and this opportunity to make them a regular option for funding – as well as value add counseling and networking – for our graduates is something we are really excited about,” says gener8tor co-founder Troy Vosseller.
The gener8tor program will host its Launch Day event Thursday in Madison to highlight each of the companies that will be receiving investment from Angels on the Water. The entrepreneurs will pitch their companies to potential investors and community members. CEO and founder of Networked Insights, Dan Neely, is the keynote speaker.
