Crane Engineering’s Tech Expo will be held at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton Thursday, April 25 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. “Driving Results Through Innovation” will feature new product innovations from more than 45 top equipment manufacturers. Twelve tech sessions held during the event include topics such as phosphorus water treatment and managing assets for reduced lifecycle cost. Tuesday, April 9: Women In Management-Manitowoc Chapter will feature Kenlyn Gretz, CEO/president of Americollect, whose presentation “Leadership Principles in Business” will be in the Fireside Room at the Holiday Inn, 4601 Calumet Ave. in Manitowoc. Wednesday, April 10: The Northeast Wisconsin International Business Network (NEWIBN) at Fox Valley Technical College will host a workshop on international business compliance and minimizing risk in global business transactions from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at FVTC’s D. J. Bordini Center in Appleton. The presentation will focus on bribery enforcement and foreign corrupt practices, as well as money laundering laws. Cost is $12. Friday, April 12: The Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold a tour of the UA Local 400 at 7:30 a.m. at its 41,000-square-foot training center at 2700 Northridge Drive in Kaukauna. Thursday, April 18: The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business & Breakfast will feature the program “Planning for the Unexpected at Any Age.” Topics include financial preparation for health expenses, potential care options after unexpected hospital stays and planning loved ones’ funeral arrangements. The event is from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at the F.K. Bemis International Center at St. Norbert College. The cost is $18 for members and $35 for prospective members. Saturday, April 20: The Executive Women’s Golf Association is hosting its annual spring kick-off from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fox Valley Golf Club, W1759 County Hwy UU in Kaukauna. The event includes a brunch, door prizes, networking and a silent auction to benefit Leaven, an organization providing financial assistance and resources to people in need.
