Tuesday, May 7: The Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business Over Breakfast event called “Assessing Your Company’s Leadership IQ” from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at 101 E. Friday, May 17: Area high school students and manufacturers will be at the Fond du Lac Festival Foods parking lot (1125 E. Johnson St.) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. as a part of the 5th Annual Project GRILL Unveiling, which showcases charcoal grills they designed and tested together. The event includes a brat fry to benefit the Project GRILL program, which stands for Growing Readiness in Learning and Leading. The project is sponsored by the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce.
Monday, June 3: The Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce will hold a golf outing at the Butte des Morts Country Club. The event will be held in a double shotgun format of about 250 golfers. First flight begins at 7 a.m., second, starts at 1 p.m. Both flights are in a scramble format that includes 18 holes of golf with a cart. A boxed lunch will be held between the flight times. Thursday, June 6: The Green Bay Chamber of Commerce will host its Business Recognition Awards at the KI Convention Center, 333 Main St. in Green Bay, during Small Business Week. A business showcase opens at 11 a.m., followed by the luncheon at 11:55 a.m. and the awards program to follow. Awards are given in several categories to recognize excellence in areas such as environmental improvement, growth, community involvement and special accomplishments.
