The Sister Bay Advancement Association has added a new event to its day of special waterfront activities on Saturday, June 8.

The Sip & Savor, planned from noon to 4 p.m. on the north side of the Sister Bay Village Hall property, 10693 Highway 42, will feature wine and hard cider from six Door County wineries: Harbor Ridge, Island Orchard Cider, Orchard Country, Red Oak, Simon Creek and Von Stiehl. The event also features Door County cheesemakers, including Renard’s, Door County Creamery and Schoolhouse Artisan.

The day’s events also include musicians, the annual Children’s Parade, Taste of Sister Bay and Paddlefest, which is organized by Bay Shore Outfitters and provides the opportunity to try kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. The day ends with a campfire and s’mores at Beach Park.

Tickets are $10 for the Sip & Savor, $10 for food at Taste of Sister Bay, and $5 for children ages 10 and younger.
