New North Inc. will host its 10th annual summit, “New North Live! Summit 2013” at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Green Bay Friday, Dec. 6. The summit features speakers, breakout sessions and an overview of economic development in the region and state. Networking begins at 7 a.m., followed by the program at 8 a.m. The midday “Taste of the New North” luncheon presents an additional networking opportunity with 800-plus attendees. The 2014 Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Vitality Index Study, presented by the NEW Manufacturing Alliance, concludes the day. The cost to attend is $75 before Nov. 8. The registration fee increases to $90 after that and to $100 at the door on the day of the event. Student tickets are available for $15. Tuesday, Nov. 12: The Imagination Network (Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club) will hold a meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Elks Club, 33 Sheboygan Street, Fond du Lac. Liz Engh, digital sales manager from Gannett Wisconsin Media will share best practices for e-commerce. The event is free. Tuesday, Nov. 12: Advance, the economic development program of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, is honoring outstanding Northeast Wisconsin manufacturers at the 2013 Manufacturing Awards of Distinction event at the Radisson Hotel & Convention Center, Green Bay. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. Keynote speaker is Jim Feeney, president of Wisconsin Film & Bag. Tickets are $50 or $475 for a table of 10.
