New North Inc. will host its 10th annual summit, “New North Live! Summit 2013” at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Green Bay Friday, Dec. 6. The summit features speakers, breakout sessions and an overview of economic development in the region and state. Networking begins at 7 a.m., followed by the program at 8 a.m. Jobs expert and author Edward E. Gordon will be the keynote speaker. The midday “Taste of the New North” luncheon presents an additional networking opportunity with 800-plus attendees. The 2014 Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Vitality Index Study, presented by the NEW Manufacturing Alliance, concludes the day. Tuesday, Nov. 26: Sail Young Professionals of Manitowoc County will host a Lunch-N-Learn on the Citizens Academy presented by Sergeant Bruce Jacobs of the Manitowoc Police Department from noon to 1 p.m. at The Chamber of Manitowoc County, 1515 Memorial Drive, Manitowoc. Wednesday, Dec. 4: The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Center for Public Affairs will present Outcome Management Training from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Green Bay, 2040 Airport Drive.
