New North Inc. will host its 10th annual summit, “New North Live! Summit 2013” at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Green Bay Friday, Dec. 6. The summit features speakers, breakout sessions and an overview of economic development in the region and state. Networking begins at 7 a.m., followed by the program at 8 a.m. Gov. Scott Walker is scheduled to speak at the event. Jobs expert and author Edward E. Gordon will be the keynote speaker. The midday “Taste of the New North” luncheon presents an additional networking opportunity with 800-plus attendees. The 2014 Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Vitality Index Study, presented by the NEW Manufacturing Alliance, concludes the day. Wednesday, Dec. 4: The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Center for Public Affairs will present Outcome Management Training from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Green Bay, 2040 Airport Drive.
