Monday, June 23: The Fond du Lac City Council will appoint 15 volunteers to a new committee intended to study Lakeside Park and its future. The committee will develop courses of action associated with any suggested changes to the park and engage regularly with the public. Interested volunteers may apply at www.fdl.wi.gov for submission to the City Clerk by June 23rd.
Wednesday, June 25: The Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau recently funded a study to determine the potential for building or renovating sports facilities to impact tourism. The final report will be presented to community stakeholders from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel 1000 Cameron Way, Neenah, Ballroom A.

Wednesday, July 16: The Door Kewaunee Business & Education Partnership (DKBEP) will host its 7th Annual Golf Challenge fundraiser at The Orchards Golf Course in Egg Harbor. Wednesday, August 6: The Service League of Green Bay will hold its 22nd annual Back to School Store at Green Bay East High School from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Elementary-age children living in poverty in Brown County will receive free school supplies and medical screenings, and over 600 volunteers are needed for this event.
