Thursday, June 12: The Chamber of Manitowoc County is presenting a Chamber Seminar “5-Star Customer Service” from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the LTC-Manitowoc Campus, 3733 Dewey St., Manitowoc. The speaker is Kenlyn Gretz, president & CEO of Americollect. Thursday, June 12: The Rotary Club of Sturgeon Bay hosts Titus Seilheimer speaking on “Current and Future Health of the Great Lakes,” from noon to 1:15 p.m. at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club. Seilheimer is the Fisheries Specialist at the University of Wisconsin Sea Grant Institute.The Rotary hosts Chris Elliott, a practicing servant leader with more than 20 years of experience. Elliott will speak about his new book “ThoughtShredder” at the yacht club, noon to 1:15 p.m., Thursday, June 19.

Friday, June 13: The NEW Manufacturing Alliance is accepting nominations for the third annual Excellence in Manufacturing/K-12 Partnerships Awards through today. The Awards Dinner will be held on Tuesday,October 21, 2014 at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay. Nominate schools, companies or individuals working together in the New North.
