Tuesday, July 29: The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) and the Chambers of Green Bay, Oshkosh and the Fox Cities will host a private breakfast and discussion of American diplomacy and the impact on Wisconsin’s economy. Thursday, July 31: The Fox Cities Chamber will be hosting its Accelerate event at UW-Oshkosh MBA-Exec Center, 2323 E. Capitol Dr., Appleton from 4:30-6 p.m. Accelerate connects small businesses with Chamber resources. Information: (920) 734-7101.

Friday, Aug. 1: The Sheboygan County Chamber will host Wisconsin Department of Transportation Secretary Mark Gottlieb at its First Friday Forum at the Bull at Pinehurst Farms, 1 Long Dr., Sheboygan Falls. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with a buffet lunch served at 11:45 a.m. The presentation will begin at noon and conclude at 1:15 p.m. Registration is $17 for members of any Chamber in Sheboygan County and $35 for general admission. Friday, Aug. 1: Door County Chef Terri Milligan will be offering a Cooking with Lavender Demonstration Class at 10 a.m., 11:30am and 1 p.m. at Fragrant Isle Lavender Farm & Shop, 1350 Airport Road Washington Island. Monday, Aug. 4: The Chamber’s Government Issues Council will host a candidate forum for the five Republicans vying for the 55th Assembly District seat at Whiting Boat House, 98 5th Street, Neenah at 12 p.m. The forum will discuss issues important to local business and hear what these candidates have to say. Tuesday, Aug. 5: The City of New Holstein is working with Stadtmueller & Associates and East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission to create a master plan for the former Tecumseh manufacturing site. The public is invited to attend a community workshop from 6-8 p.m. at the Community Center, 1725 Silver Moon Lane to explore ideas for revitalizing the former Tecumseh property.
