Friday, Aug. 1: The Sheboygan County Chamber will host Wisconsin Department of Transportation Secretary Mark Gottlieb at its First Friday Forum at the Bull at Pinehurst Farms, 1 Long Dr., Sheboygan Falls. Monday, Aug. 4: The Chamber’s Government Issues Council will host a candidate forum for the five Republicans vying for the 55th Assembly District seat at Whiting Boat House, 98 5th Street, Neenah at 12 p.m. The forum will discuss issues important to local business and hear what these candidates have to say. Tuesday, Aug. 5: The City of New Holstein is working with Stadtmueller & Associates and East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission to create a master plan for the former Tecumseh manufacturing site. The public is invited to attend a community workshop from 6-8 p.m. at the Community Center, 1725 Silver Moon Lane to explore ideas for revitalizing the former Tecumseh property.
