Manufacturing really does matter to Northeast Wisconsin!

More than 1,000 attended this year’s Manufacturing First event at the KI Center in Wisconsin, where they had a chance to talk shop, make contacts and learn from peers potential solutions to some of challenges manufacturers face. Keynote speaker Bill Taylor, a founder of Fast Company magazine and author of several books about innovation, challenged those attending to take the uncomfortable route and embrace the changes ahead.

“Ordinary is not an option,” Taylor says.

Nearly 200 exhibitors were on hand as well, offering a glimpse of the latest tools and technologies available. Plus, nearly 500 students attended part of the tw0-day conference to gain exposure to potential manufacturing career paths and employers.
