Innovation and collaboration are key to success and no place is that truer than in manufacturing. The NEW Manufacturing Alliance’s Excellence in Manufacturing/K-12 Partnerships Awards provide an opportunity to recognize people, manufacturers and community partnerships that go the extra mile.
Nominations are now open for Excellence in Manufacturing Awards in the areas of educator, manufacturer and community partnerships. NEWMA presents 14 awards ranging from a Leadership Award for businesses that encourage engagement between their employees and local schools to an Educational Partnership Award for manufacturers that make a significant donation to a school. The event also recognizes a technology education teacher making a difference, and the Community Partnership Award honors a private/public partnership that encourages manufacturing career exploration.

The awards will be handed out at the NEWMA Awards Dinner on Oct. 23 at the KI Center in Green Bay. The ceremony is held the night before the annual Manufacturing First Expo & Conference.
