If you’re looking to escape our never-ending winter, the Appleton International Airport is increasing the number of flights in March and April to give spring break travelers more options.

“Nothing is more exciting after a long winter than heading somewhere warm for spring break,” said Airport Director Abe Weber. “At ATW we’re offering more flights and destinations than ever before during March and April in order to make sure there’s plenty of options for travelers looking to escape the Wisconsin cold.”

During March, Appleton’s expanded schedule includes five weekly flights to Orlando/Sanford, four weekly flights to Phoenix/Mesa and two weekly flights to Tampa/St. Petersberg, Fort Myers/Punta Gorda and Las Vegas. In April, the additional flights to Orlando/Sanford and Phoenix/Mesa continue.

Travelers can browse the different flights at Allegiant.com.

The number of passengers making their way through ATW increased dramatically in 2018 and finished January 2019 up 18 percent from the same time last year. To help better accommodate passengers, the airport is launching a curbside valet service this month.
