The Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce recently paid tribute to several Fox Valley businesses for their achievements and contributions to the region’s economic development during the past year.
The winners were:
Large business of the year: Nicolet National Bank, headquartered in Green Bay with branches throughout the area.
Small business achievement awards: Retail category — Party and Print, Little Chute; Service category —- JG Home Improvements and Emergency Service, Appleton.
Inspiring business person of the year: Clay Eiting, owner of Ghost Town Fitness in Kaukauna.
Emerging enterprise award: The Recyclist Bicycle Shop and Drop Bar Café, Kaukauna.
Community partner of the year: Fox Communities Credit Union, headquartered in Appleton with branches throughout the area.
Business partner in education award: UA Local 400 Plumbers and Steamfitters, Kaukauna.
The Cornerstone Business Award, which honors a business that displays extraordinary achievements in business and in the community, went to Valley Packaging Industries.
Headquartered in Kaukauna, the Heart of the Valley Chamber has more than 500 members from throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
