ERG ranked No. 144 on the list out of more than 30,000 firms nationwide that specialize in filling positions with salaries of at least $100,000.
To determine its list, Forbes partnered with marketing research company Statista, who surveyed 25,000 recruiters and 5,000 job candidates and human resources managers who worked with recruitment agencies over the last three years. Respondents were asked to nominate up to 10 recruiting firms in the executive search category. Firms with the most recommendations ranked highest.
“It is truly an honor to be recognized on the Forbes 2019 list of America’s Best Search firms in the country,” said Sharon Hulce, ERG’s president and CEO. “The best part of this award is that our clients nominated and championed us. This recognition is a direct result of the hard work the team at ERG is doing. The team is very passionate about making sure we provide a great experience to our clients and candidates and ensuring it is a good fit all the way around.”
Chris Hess, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries in Menasha, has been both an ERG candidate and a client. “The experience with ERG is unlike any other experience I have been a part of,” he said. “They work extremely hard on making just the right match, not only for their clients, but for the candidates they work with. Culture really matters to them and this is where they excel.”
Hulce founded ERG in 2002 after working six years in the executive search industry. ERG specializes in searches for the construction, manufacturing and banking industries and function-based positions in human resources, IT, marketing, operations and leadership roles. The company also conducts searches for local non-profits at no cost.
