Golf fans interested in purchasing tickets for the 2020 Ryder Cup, which will be held Sept. 22-27, 2020, can sign up at RyderCup.com starting today. The sign-up will stay open through the end of the day on Sept. 13. At that point, the names of all of the people who signed up will go through the PGA of America’s random selection process.
“The Ryder Cup is one of the few sporting events in the world where the ticket demand requires a random selection process in order to give everyone a fair shot at witnessing sports history firsthand,” said Jason Mengel, director for the 2020 Ryder Cup. “We encourage everyone with interest in Ryder Cup tickets to fill out the registration form online, as the number of individual inquiries we’ve received about our random selection process indicate record-setting demand. We wish all registrants the best of luck.”
In October, all applicants will be notified via email if they have been randomly selected for the opportunity to purchase tickets. Pricing and ticket options will be announced this summer.
The Ryder Cup is held every other year and features a team of the best U.S. golfers versus a team of golfers from Europe.
