Daniel Heiser, Ph.D., J.D., chair of the department of management and entrepreneurship at DePaul University, will be the next dean for the Schneider School of Business & Economics at St. Norbert College. He will begin on July 1.
As dean of the Schneider School of Business & Economics, Heiser will oversee the undergraduate experience, the Master of Business Administration program, the Center for Exceptional Leadership, the Center for Business & Economic Analysis and the Strategic Research Institute.
“I am thrilled and humbled to join St. Norbert College’s mission-driven community as dean of the Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics,” Heiser said. “I’m eager to work with the school’s faculty and staff to build on past success and prepare our students as lifelong learners for the rapidly changing work environment they’ll face upon graduation.”
As chair of the department of management and entrepreneurship at DePaul University the past three years, Heiser oversaw the budget, management and scheduling for 31 full-time and 42 adjunct faculty. He was also responsible for the oversight of the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center, the Management Development Center, six master’s programs and two undergraduate majors at DePaul.
Heiser has his J.D. and his Ph.D. from Indiana University.
