Kate Burgess, CEO of Elevate97, was named the Greater Green Bay Chamber’s Business Person of the Year at a luncheon Tuesday at the KI Center in Green Bay.
Based in Ashwaubenon, Elevate97 partners with more than 200 clients as well as produces more than 40 million pieces of marketing materials annually.
During the past year, Burgess purchased Cineviz, a digital technologies company; KHROME, an ad agency; and Colortech Signs and Graphics, an outdoor signage and lighting company, as a way to add a new dimension of fully integrated services and end-to-end marketing solutions.
More than 550 people attended this year’s event, which honored Burgess and four Green Bay area businesses. The event recognizes the impact that all businesses make to the chamber’s economic vitality.
In addition to Burgess, other award winners included:
Cornerstone Award: McDonald Companies of Green Bay, which includes set of businesses including WSW Supply Chain Services, McDonald Development and South Bay Marina.
Entrepreneurial Award: MatchBack Systems, Inc. of Green Bay, a logistics software company.
