As workplaces change – whether it’s due to an influx of technology or a younger generation of employees – how to lead those organizations also needs to change.
That’s the premise behind The New Imperatives of Leadership, a three-part series from the Center for Exceptional Leadership (CEL) at St. Norbert College and Employ Humanity, a consulting business focused on inspiring emotional intelligence in the workplace.
The new leadership model is centered around reflection, innovation and inspiration. The series will help business owners and leaders learn more about how this style of leadership can affect their organizations and themselves.
All sessions will be led by Bill Marklein, founder of Employ Humanity, and Angela Marshalek, director of services at the CEL, and held at The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake. Each session will run from 3 to 5 p.m.
The schedule is:
Sept. 4: The Rise of Emotional Intelligence and the Call for New Leadership
Sept. 18: Looking Inward to Serve Outward
Oct. 9: The 21st Century Leader: Building Momentum for Innovation and Creativity
The cost is $50 per session or $139 for all three. To register or for more information, click here.
