Energy Bank Inc. of Manitowoc, Fork Farms of Appleton and Kohler WasteLAB in Kohler, were among the 31 companies and non-profit organizations chosen as finalists for the awards. Ten winners will be announced at an event in Madison on Oct. 9.
Award nominations opened in the spring with 21 statewide industry experts choosing the finalists out of more than 400 nominees.
Matt Younkle and Joe Boucher of Neider & Boucher launched the Wisconsin Innovation Awards six years ago with funding and support from American Family Insurance, Baird, Exact Sciences, First Business Bank, Neider & Boucher and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.
