Excellerate debuting new products at AirVenture

Excellerate is using EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh to unveil its newest energy product innovations.

AirVenture, which begins today and runs through Sunday, is the world’s largest fly-in. Excellerate, a Fox Cities-based manufactured products company with a focus in electrical assemblies and modular solutions, will launch the following products at AirVenture:

  • Excellerate Solar Ground Mount: This is a pre-assembled, modular solar panel that can be installed on an individual basis or as part of large-scale solar fields. When it arrives to the installation site, the already connected frame and racking system provides easy installation wherever it’s needed.
  • Excellerate’s Energy Storage and Controls: This pre-built microgrid unit contains all the control functionality and battery storage needed for a microgrid. It has easy inputs for solar PV or generators and can either be grid connected or operate in “island” mode separate from the traditional energy grid.
  • Excellerate Solar Walkway: This provides inclement weather protection for pedestrians, while producing renewable energy and power to nearby sources. These walkways can be implemented between parking lots and buildings, building entrances, sidewalks and much more.

Excellerate officials say its clean energy products can provide a constant, reliable source of power in locations such as remote airfields and air parks, can charge electric aircraft and power entire fleets of electric vehicles. At AirVenture, Excellerate’s products will also provide power for the ultralight camping area.

A division of Faith Technologies, Excellerate employs more than 300 at its manufacturing facilities in Oshkosh, Neenah, Appleton, Lenexa, Kan., and Atlanta.
