Lakeside Pepsi is building a new distribution facility in Sheboygan Falls.

Lakeside Pepsi is building a new 72,000-square-foot distribution facility in Sheboygan Falls.

The single-story building is designed to better serve customers, said Pete Schueller, owner of Lakeside Pepsi. It will include an internal loading area comprised of six loading docks and space for loading two conventional beverage trucks concurrently. This internal space eliminates the risk of product freezing inside trucks during the winter months, increases loading output and provides better traffic flow for trucks and warehouse personnel, Schueller said.

“The increased space and improved warehouse efficiency will allow us greater flexibility in meeting the complexity of carrying a greater variety of products,” he said.

The office space will feature 12-foot ceilings with flexible individual workspaces, an open work lounge to promote interaction and collaboration as well as offices to meet the ergonomic needs of the Lakeside Pepsi team.

Quasius Construction is handling construction of the new facility, which is located in the Sheboygan Falls Vision Park District. It is expected to open next spring.

Lakeside Pepsi is a fourth generation, independently owned Pepsi-Cola bottler distributing beverage and snack products. It’s the exclusive distributor of these products in Sheboygan and Calumet counties as well as parts of Manitowoc and Ozaukee counties.
