If you want to be in the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center when the hit musical “Hamilton” happens, mark next Wednesday on your calendar. That’s the day that tickets go on sale for the musical blockbuster’s October run in Appleton.
“Hamilton” will run Oct. 1-20 at the PAC and marks the first time the Tony award-winning musical written by Lin-Manuel Miranda will appear in Wisconsin.
There are two ways fans can get tickets — online and in person. In-person tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. Aug. 14 at the PAC box office. Doors to the box office will open up at 7 a.m. and the PAC is asking fans to begin lining up at 6 a.m. at the valet entrance. For people wanting to buy tickets online, they go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 14 at www.ticketmaster.com.
Tickets cost between $85 and $299 and each buyer is limited to buying eight tickets.
A lottery for $10 tickets before each performance will also be held. Those details will be announced closer to the show’s opening.
