The new service, offered via Frontier Airlines, begins Nov. 14, with fares as low as $59. It will run three days a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The airline also offers nonstop service to Denver three days a week.
“We are very excited to offer this new route to Green Bay area travelers, and we look forward to welcoming you all aboard soon,” Zachary Kramer, corporate communications manager for Frontier, said at a news conference.
Brown County Executive Troy Steckenbach said to see more flights offered, the community needs to continue to support Austin Straubel. Frontier’s nonstop service to Denver, which began in May, has proven popular thus far.
“The success of this airport really is truly dependent upon the community of Northeast Wisconsin recognizing that we have a wonderful airport here — everything from facilities to the staff to our partners,” he said. “We really, truly appreciate that Frontier Airlines sees the value in this airport and has made an investment in us.”
