Startup Appleton Week will return for a third year of programming Nov. 11-16. The weeklong series of events aims to increase awareness surrounding the local startup and tech ecosystem as well as inspire and equip the community to rally around the transformation taking place in the region.
More than 40 community partner groups are leading the 30-plus events and discussions that will provide training, skills and development opportunities for participants. Key local partners for Startup Appleton Week include Fox Valley Technical College and the D.J. Bordini Center, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers – the Fox Club, Miron Construction Co. Inc., SCORE and New North Inc.
Startup Appleton Week is part of Startup Wisconsin, an effort founded in 2016 focused on advancing and developing Wisconsin’s tech and startup ecosystems through unique programming, collaborative partnerships and networking.
“Startup Appleton Week provides a platform for entrepreneurs and the key stakeholders to come together, to learn, connect and drive meaningful and powerful transformation in the community,” said Matt Cordio, co-founder and president of Startup Wisconsin. “Innovation and technology are vital to growing Wisconsin’s economy and creating new jobs. The programming occurring during Startup Wisconsin Week this year will continue to develop and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Wisconsin and move the state’s economy forward.”
