Evergreen Credit Union has named Kathy Jankowski as its new president and CEO. The former president and CEO, Mike Brandt, is stepping down to pursue another opportunity in the credit union industry at a position in Milwaukee. Jankowski has been part of Evergreen Credit Union’s executive team since 2011. She served as vice president of lending for the first five years and then transitioned to vice president of operations in 2016.
Bill Elliott was named president of First Business Growth Funding. First Business Financial Services recently changed its name for its account receivable financing business from First Business Factors to First Business Growth Funding.
“First Business Growth Funding better reflects how we assist business owners by shortening our clients’ cash flow cycle, smoothing out their operating finances and allowing them to grow,” Elliott says. “There’s an increasing demand as many buyers extend their accounts payable terms — it’s often difficult for vendors to meet the financial demands of payroll and inventory purchases when they aren’t paid consistently in a timely manner.”
Children’s mental health and wellness provider Catalpa Health named Mary Downs as its new president and CEO. Downs joins Catalpa after serving as the executive director of the Fox Valley Technical College Foundation. Before her time with the FVTC Foundation, Downs worked at ThedaCare and was involved in the formation of Catalpa in 2012.
“With her extensive expertise in mental health and her proven track record in leadership, Mary is a tremendous asset for us and I can’t wait to see how she leads Catalpa in transforming the way mental health care is provided to children and teens in our community,” Dave VanderZanden, board chair for Catalpa Health, said in a statement.
