Cypress Benefit Administrators, headquartered in Appleton, was named a 2013 Business of the Year in the Service category by the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Cypress also was listed on Inc. magazine’s 500|5000 list, ranking No. 38 in terms of growth for the Top 100 Insurance Companies in the United States. Cypress grew 54 percent during the last three years and added 34 new jobs. Cypress was also ranked No. 65 on the list among the Top 100 Wisconsin Companies and is the only third party administrator in the state to make the Inc. list. Additionally, Cypress received the Gold Well Workplace Award from the Wellness Council of America for its wellness efforts within its workplace.

Digital marketing agency Stellar Blue Web Design LLC launched a custom website for the newVoices, a local choir group formerly known as White Heron Chorale at newvoiceschoir.org.

ThedaCare is the newest member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network – the first in Wisconsin – giving local ThedaCare-aligned physicians direct access to Mayo Clinic experts and clinical resources. ThedaCare also won a Platinum Well Workplace Award from the Wellness Council of America and the Wellness Council of Wisconsin after receiving the maximum points for categories in creating cohesive wellness teams, collecting data to drive health efforts, creating supportive and healthy environments for employees and evaluating outcomes. Additionally, the Theda Clark Medical Center’s Trauma Center was recently verified as a Level II trauma center for the sixth year. The Level II verification is a national program by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma, and Theda Clark is one of only eight Level II trauma centers in Wisconsin. The Trauma Center at Theda Clark serves 10 counties in the New North region.

Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C. relocated its Green Bay offices to 300 N. Broadway.

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay was ranked No. 65 in the “Best Regional Universities — Midwest” category of the annual U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges list. The college ranked 66 last year and 78 the year prior. Before 2011, UW-Green Bay was listed in the “Best National Liberal Arts Colleges” category.

Agnesian HealthCare’s Cancer Center in Fond du Lac is the first health care system to test Xofigo, or Radium 223, a new radiation treatment technology that accurately tracks and adjusts for metastatic prostate cancer tumor movements with sub-millimeter accuracy.

Appleton’s Stone Cellar Brewpub announced a new, full-service banquet hall operation and partnership with Riverview Gardens called Stone Cellar at Riverview Gardens. The new enterprise specializes in weddings, special events and holiday parties.

Since May 2013, H.J. Martin and Son, Inc. has installed 50,000 square feet of transparent glass on the new corporate headquarters and research center of the Schreiber Foods exterior building in Downtown Green Bay. There is an additional 7,000 square feet of interior glazing work left to complete within the 250,000-square foot structure.

Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin (NCW) opened a new Donation Express on Northland Avenue in Appleton. The new Northland Donation Express will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.

For the 10th consecutive year, Acuity in Sheboygan is ranked in the InformationWeek 500, a list of the top technology innovators in the United States.. The Green Bay Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative (RWHC) announced Legato Healthcare Marketing as its newest corporate partner. Social Innovation Leadership Experience participants received $45,000 grants through the Basic Needs Giving Partnership, the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Greater Green Bay Area Community Foundation and Oshkosh Area Community Foundation.

The Manitowoc Company, Inc. announced that Shantui Investment Co. Ltd. has terminated its agreement with Manitowoc Crane Group Asia Pte Ltd. to enter into a joint venture contract with Manitowoc Dong Yue Heavy Machinery Co. Ltd. Manitowoc also participated in the 21st Annual Deutsche Bank Leveraged Finance Conference in Arizona. Dean J. Nolden and Steven C. UW-Green Bay signed two new partnership agreements with Waukesha County Technical College in Pewaukee and Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee. The new partnerships join existing partnerships between the Adult Degree Program and Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Northcentral Technical College in Wausau and Nicolet College in Rhinelander. Additionally, UW-Green Bay’s Center for Public Affairs and Environmental Management and Business Institute received a $150,000 Career Ready Internship Initiative grant from Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation. The grants will be used to create and offer paid internships for juniors and seniors who don’t receive enough financial aid.

Anchor BanCorp Wisconsin Inc. completed its $175 million recapitalization. AnchorBank’s capital levels exceed the thresholds for a “well capitalized” bank under applicable regulatory guidelines and are among the highest capital ratios of banks in Wisconsin. AnchorBank has 55 offices located in Wisconsin.
