Titletown Brewing Co. was named large brew pub of the year at this year’s Great American Beer Festival presented by the Boulder, Colo.-based Brewers Association, a trade group for the craft beer industry. Titletown also won two silver medals: in the smoke beer category, for its S.S.A. brand; and in the Irish-style red ale category, for Johnny Blood Red. Titletown’s brewmaster, David Oldenburg, was named large brew pub brewer of the year.

Hamann Construction completed a multi-phase 83,670-square-foot warehouse facility addition for Kaytee Products, Inc., in Chilton. The new warehouse addition wraps around the existing building and was constructed in several phases without interruption to manufacturing operations.

ThedaCare-affiliated physicians performed the first surgery in the new ThedaCare hybrid surgical suite on the campus of Appleton Medical Center on October. The high-tech operating suite is used for vascular surgery, interventional cardiology and
cardiac surgery.

Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah received the 2015-16 Consumer Choice Awards from the National Research Corporation. AMC won in the Appleton market while Theda Clark won in the Neenah-Oshkosh market. The annual award identifies hospitals across the country that consumers choose as having the highest quality and image. ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano announced the certification of its cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Miron Construction Co., Inc. has been named to the “Top 100 Green Building Contractors” list by Engineering News-Record, an online and print construction-industry publication. Miron also received a Distinguished Performer Award in
the People category as part of Deloitte’s 2015 Wisconsin 75 awards program, which celebrates the largest privately held businesses headquartered in Wisconsin.

Faith Technologies, an electrical, engineering and technology systems contractor, was ranked 14th on Electrical Construction & Maintenance magazine’s annual “Top 50 Electrical Contractors” list. Faith Technologies had revenue of $376 million in 2014. The company also received the 2015 Vision Award from Constructech magazine for its convergence of converging construction and technology.

U.S. Oil, the petroleum and renewable energy distribution division of U.S. Venture, announced a partnership with Convenience Store Alliance to give independent customers access to national chain discount and rebate programs. U.S. Gain, a division of U.S. Venture, is partnering with TIMCO CNG to add the GAIN Clean Fuel compressed natural gas brand to
both of TIMCO CNG’s locations in California.

Wisconsin Drug Testing Consortium updated its website,, to provide business owners and safety/HR managers with a comprehensive look at the company’s service offerings.

Team Industries of Kaukauna launched a new website built with the help of Weidert Group, which specializes in inbound marketing and online lead generation. With original photography and videography by Appleton-based Image Studios, Weidert Group designed the website from the ground up, emphasizing written and visual content that will assist Team Industries’ online marketing efforts.

Becker’s Healthcare, a source of business and legal information for the healthcare industry, named Ministry Door County Medical Center as one of the 50 Critical Access Hospitals to Know in 2015.

H.J. Martin and Son expanded its full line of services to Operable Partitions, a new branch of the company’s Walls & Ceilings division.  Often referred to as “movable walls,” the product adds flexibility and functionality to a wide array of public spaces.

Footer Family, based in Door County, launched its foot sizing products into the retail market to assist consumers when making
an online shoe purchase.

After 50 years of independent operation, Villa Loretto and Villa Rosa have joined with Agnesian HealthCare. The change was finalized Oct. 1.

Slater will build the 53,000-square-foot Sussex Civic Center for the Village of Sussex, which it expects to complete in February.

Viking Masek Global Packaging Technologies will add an 18,000-square-foot addition to its Oostburg headquarters. The addition is an increase of roughly 50 percent of the existing facility. The company expects to add 20 new hires.

School Specialty, Inc. assisted the New York City Department of Education in its Universal Pre-K initiative by outfitting 175 schools with 365 classroom sets, consisting of thousands of different products under its Classroom Select, Childcraft and Bird-in-Hand furniture lines.

Jagemann announced the launch of its new reloading brass program and partnership with Crow Shooting Supply. This launch represents Jagemann’s entry into the retail market.

Wesley Heating & Cooling, Inc. purchased the assets of Marx Mechanical and will move all Marx Mechanical service and installation operations to its location at 3250A Walter St., Oshkosh.

Dental Health Products, Inc., a dental supply and equipment distributor, and L.A. Lens, a Los Angeles-based healthcare supplier specializing in HD cameras, surgical loupes and portable LED headlights, announced a new partnership. This partnership will expand access to loupes and LED headlights to dental professionals through Dental Health Products.

Prevea Health and Aaron Rodgers have agreed to partner for another four years of promoting health throughout northeastern and western Wisconsin. The partnership began in 2012 when Rodgers was first featured as Prevea’s voice of wellness.

Fond du Lac Festivals, Inc. announced Walleye Weekend 2015 provided $205,549.91 to the nonprofits participating in the festival. Officially there were 54 groups representing 45 nonprofits including service organizations, schools, churches and other nonprofits.

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital received a $1 million donation from the ACUITY Charitable Foundation for its 125th Anniversary Capital Progress Campaign.

More than 14 technicians employed by Matthews Tire have completed diesel, hybrid or both diesel/hybrid training at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton.

Jewelers Mutual has introduced “The Essential Buyer’s Guide to Jewelry Insurance,” an e-book to help consumers decide how best to protect their jewelry. The 24-page e-book is available at

Bowman Performance Consulting, Shawano, will provide technical support to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Tribal Labor Advisory Committee. BPC will work with the Lac du Flambeau Tribe on this seven-month project. This project is to work on the Statewide Native American Labor Database, which will work closely with the 11 tribes of Wisconsin on capacity to maintain information and creation of a statewide labor database.

The Women’s Fund of Door County announced its 2015 Fall Grant awards: Boys and Girls Club of Door County, for STEM equipment to expand the Girls STEM curriculum incorporating activities in technology; Door County Medical Center Foundation, for LEAP. The Human Kindness Project, to enable eight female professional specialists to facilitate the project and performance involving students from all five Door County school districts; Door County YMCA for the 2015-2016 Youth in Government program, providing young women the opportunity to develop leadership skills by enabling them to experience the roles of local and state government; FISC Consumer Credit Counseling of Door County, for Her Money: Building Financial Self-Esteem in Women; Lakeshore CAP, for First STEP, a positive parenting program of Door County Cradle to Career Coalition; Southern Door School District, for its STEM Camp 2016, a week-long STEM program for students throughout the county in grades 1-6; and We Are HOPE, for its Be Smart About Education program, which provides career guidance and strategies for women as they seek their educational and/or career path.

The Fox Cities Regional Partnership won Best in Show for Excellence in Economic Development from the International Economic Development Council for its Spring 2015 Talent Upload program. IEDC’s Excellence in Economic Development Awards recognize the world’s best economic development programs and partnerships, marketing materials and most influential leaders. The Talent Upload program was also chosen as a winner of the Gold Excellence in Economic Development Award in the category of Special Event for communities with populations of 200,000 to 500,000.

Riverwalk Hospitality LLC, owners of the former Holiday Inn in Neenah, will convert the hotel to the Hilton affiliate brand DoubleTree. Renovations are underway on the 7-story, 107-room hotel, currently known as Riverwalk Hotel. The work will include extensive improvements during the rebranding, and will remain open during the renovation process. Work is expected to be completed by the fall of 2016.

Kaysun Corporation selected Hamann Construction to build a 31,300-square-foot factory and warehouse addition to its existing facility in Manitowoc. The project is expected to be complete by December.

The Theda Clark Bariatric Program, which is a joint program of Theda Clark Medical Center and its surgeon partners at Midwest Bariatrics Solutions, has been reaccredited as a comprehensive center for bariatric surgery.

Element Creative, a full-service marketing agency in De Pere, announced it has been named agency of record for Moraine Park Technical College, one of Wisconsin’s leading technical colleges.

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital opened its renovated Women’s Health & Birthing Center. The maternity unit features a spa-like atmosphere, leading-edge equipment, private family suites and amenities that cater to postpartum mothers, newborns
and families.

Systems Furniture, Inc., De Pere, WI announced partnership with AVI Systems, an AV integrator headquartered in Minneapolis, which sells, installs and services complete communication technology systems for video conferencing and digital media solutions. AVI will have demonstration space within the Systems Furniture office in De Pere.

Community First Credit Union began construction of a new home office and branch location in the Town of Menasha. The new facility is expected to open in 2017.
