The Fox Valley Ethics in Business Summit advances the conversation around ethical best practices to shape a more vibrant community by bringing together professionals from large and small businesses, nonprofit organizations and educational institutions.

The summit will be held from 7:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Oct. 1 at the Bridgewood Resort & Conference Center in Neenah. Presented by the Samaritan Counseling Center of the Fox Valley Inc., the summit provides a setting where community leaders learn with and from one another as they have conversations about ethical business practices and how to set the tone from the top of the organization.

Susan Divers, a senior adviser at LRN Corp., is the event’s keynote speaker and will discuss moral leadership and trust in organizations in an interactive setting. An attorney, Divers has extensive experience in drafting compliance programs infused with values and designing user-friendly ways to inform and engage employees.

Rosangela Berbert, executive director for Samaritan Counseling, says the event will enhance the three Rs in every workplace: reputation, recruitment and retention — all topics that today’s businesses are eager to learn more about.

The summit also improves community health by underwriting access to mental health care, a critical community need captured in the 2016 LIFE Study and affirmed in the 2019 update.

HR professionals, CPAs and attorneys can earn 2.5 ethics credits and insurance agents can earn 3 OCI-approved ethics credits by attending the summit. The cost to attend is $75.

Samaritan Counseling Center of the Fox Valley is fully licensed with the state of Wisconsin as an outpatient mental health and AODA clinic. To register for the Ethics in Business Summit, visit
