Walking into a place named Cheese Cake Heaven, you might think you know what to expect. But if all you’re picturing is decadent, luscious dessert, you’ll be in for a surprise. Yes, the eatery does offer a rotating selection of homemade cheesecake in varieties such as dark chocolate raspberry, turtle and cherry mousse, but it also features a full breakfast and lunch menu, all served in a casual, comfortable environment.

“It’s just one of the places where after you have lunch, you just feel good inside,” says Ann Franz, director of the NEW Manufacturing Alliance. She frequents the café on a regular basis and says its lobster bisque is not to be missed. That customer favorite as well as chili and a variety of other gourmet soups are available each day for $4.99 for 12 ounces.

The Green Bay restaurant also features build-your-own and specialty sandwiches
as well as salads, flatbreads, wraps and burgers. The Chicken Cordon Gouda sandwich, $9.49, is grilled and served on roasted garlic bread and includes shaved ham, grilled chicken breast and gouda finished with white wine dill mustard and house mayo. The Chipotle Chicken, Bacon and Cheddar flatbread, $11.59, is topped with flame-grilled chicken breast, chipotle cream, bacon, cheddar, Roma tomatoes and cilantro cream.

For those with enough room for dessert, turtle cheesecake and the assorted flavors of the month are available for $4.69 a slice. Other bakery items include cookies, cupcakes and cinnamon rolls.
