Fox Cities Regional Partnership, the economic development division of the Fox Cities Chamber, announced that its vice president of economic development, Manny Vasquez, will join Pfefferle Co. Inc. His last day at the partnership will be Feb. 3.

Maureen Pistone, senior vice president, talent development and human resources at ThedaCare, and Catherine Tierney, president and CEO of Community First Credit Union, have been named to the board of directors of New North Inc.

ThedaCare also named Terry Voigt as the new vice president of perioperative services and Carrie Riley as director of transitions of care.

Barbara Rau will take over as leader of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh College of Business on July 1. Rau, who currently serves as associate dean, was hired as dean following a national search. She’ll take over for Scott Breyer, who is serving as interim dean.

Lee Allinger, superintendent of Appleton Area School District, announced he will retire effective June 30.

Miller Electric hired Justin Blount as vice president/general manager of its welding accessories and cutting division.

Choice Bank promoted Chad Miller to assistant vice president-commercial loan officer.

KerberRose accounting firm hired Michael Stratman, CPA, as senior manager in the Green Bay office and Deann Faubel, CPA, as manager in the Fox Cities office.

The Experimental Aircraft Association announced the following hires: Lorrie Penner, executive director of International Aerobatic Club; Joe Norris, flight training manager; Jay T. Meidl, visual properties manager; David Leiting, chapter outreach specialist; Carolyn Becker, developer/information technology; and Cody Gustafson, member services representative.

Architectural, engineering and interior design firm Berners-Schober hired architect Jim Hinze.

The Advertising Specialty Institute named 4imprint CEO Kevin Lyons-Tarr to its No. 2 spot on its list of the “50 most influential business leaders” in the promotional products industry.

Jake Harmsen, CPA, CFP, financial adviser at AEGIS Financial in Oshkosh, has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use the Certified Financial Planner and CFP certification marks.

Area entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and wellness coach Aaron Hunnel announced the release of his first book, “Upwards: Maximize Life with Positivity.”
